What is business text messaging, aka business SMS?

Basically, business SMS involves using text messages to quickly and conveniently connect with customers. Opt-Out Assist for 10DLC Registered SMS Numbers

Streamline the opt-out messaging process and ensure compliance with 10DLC regulations by setting up automatic responses sent to customers who text your business HELP or STOP. For instance, if a customer sends the STOP keyword, the your business’s predefined response message will be sent and a block will be placed on that phone number preventing future SMS messaging. 

There's also the option to send an automatic reply to the opt-in keyword, JOIN.

With Vonage Business Communications, users in the U.S. with a registered phone number can send and receive business SMS and MMS to any U.S. and Canada phone number1 from their professional identities, even on their personal devices.

Short Message Service (SMS) is designed to send short text communications, commonly known as "texting." 

Multimedia Message Service (MMS) enables the use of photos, videos, and audio files in these communications.   

To use VBC business services to send SMS/MMS communications within the U.S. and Canada, your phone numbers must be registered through The Campaign Registry.

Once registered with The Campaign Registry., VBC customers within the U.S. can send and receive SMS and MMS to U.S. and Canada based telephone numbers via VBC Desktop App and/or Mobile App.
